Happy New Year, Juliette, and welcome to planDisney!
Of all of the places in the world, it should come to no surprise that Walt Disney World is the practically perfect choice for Spring Break. The flowers are in bloom at the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
Blizzard Beach and its iconic wave pool are open and ready for fun. And year-round favorites are waiting for your arrival.
At the time of answering your question, the
Day Calendar shows theme park times through the first week of March. The hours are updated 60 days in advance. You’ll want to wait until the end of January to get the clearest idea of what to expect.
Let’s take a look at past late March/early April trends. Animal Kingdom tends to open the earliest year round, so you’re looking at opening times around 8 a.m. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios opened around 9 a.m. Last year, Animal Kingdom closed between 6 and 8 p.m., while the other three theme parks usually closed between 9 and 11 p.m.
Keep in mind that if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can
enter the theme parks 30 minutes before they open to all Guests. On select nights and at select theme parks, Deluxe hotel Guests can stay two hours past closing time. It’s a pretty cool perk that my older son and I refuse to miss when we’re eligible to stay and play.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you want more Disney after dark fun, consider partying the night away at a
Disney After Hours event. Explore Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or even Hollywood Studios until the wee hours at this separately ticketed
Enchanting Extra. This is an additional opportunity to check out the theme parks with shorter ride queues, included snacks, and access until as late as 1 a.m.
I hope that your 2026 Spring Break is everything you hope it will be and more. Thanks again for stopping by, Juliette. Just
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other Disney vacation planning questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
