Hey Amy!
Welcome to
planDisney!
I love visiting Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park during
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. This festive celebration is bringing back all of your favorites like Haunted Mansion Holiday, the Disney Festival of Holidays, World of Color- Season of Light, A Christmas Fantasy Parade, and so much more!
One of the great things about the theme park reservation system is that it sets limits on how many guests are allowed to visit the theme parks for the day. The Disneyland Resort has a lot of local guests with Magic Keys who love to visit often. In the past, the parks would hit capacity much more often during the holiday season because it was impossible to predict who would show up for the day. Now, with theme park reservations in place, it hardly happens anymore. Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve/ Day would be the only days that I would worry about. Even then, if you went to dinner and came back to the parks only one park could be at capacity while the other park would not because of the theme park reservation limits that are set daily. In theory, this could happen any day of the year if guests all park hopped over to one park but it would still leave one park open. I hope this makes sense and gives you some reassurance that in a worst case scenario, one park would not be at capacity at all times.
Well Amy, if you have any more questions for us please come back and let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
