Hello, Melissa!
I’m always excited to talk to a fellow resident of the Sunshine State. Maybe it’s the warm Florida weather, but as soon as November arrived, I started dreaming of my own winter wonderland and feeling completely ready to dive into the holiday season. Maybe the rain today will turn into snow. . . a girl and dream, right?
Your Disney Dream sailing takes place just before the
Very Merrytime Cruises begin. One year, I was on the first holiday sailing, and they were putting up the tree as we were embarking. You’ll likely see the start of the holiday decorations, such as the finishing touches placed on the gingerbread house or at least a box around where it is being constructed, but the tree and garland might not be up just yet.
One thing there’s going to be no shortage of is fun! It looks like
Pirates will be taking over the ship on Sunday. There are pirate-themed activities during the day and a swashbuckling deck party at night. Your stateroom host will leave bandanas to help you embrace your inner pirate and join Mickey’s Pirate Crew.
You’ll find a list of all the available activities on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. From character meet-and-greets and trivia to live shows and more, the app ensures you won't miss a moment of the magic. When hunger strikes, the app will lead you to all the delectable dining options, including your table number, restaurant hours, and menus. Be sure to check the app daily, as entertainment schedules can change.
Wishing you an unforgettable adventure aboard the Disney Dream, Melissa! There’s nothing quite like the magic of a Disney cruise, and who knows, maybe a bit of that winter wonderland feeling will find you, even in the warm breeze at
Disney Castaway Cay.
SEAS the adventure!
