Hi there, Annie!
Thank you for stopping by planDisney. It looks like you are sailing on the Disney Cruise Line during the holiday season. How exciting! I sailed on a
Very Merrytime Cruise with my planDisney pals last year, and we had the best time!
I chatted with Cast Member Joe who said Guests typically book the Virtual Sports Simulators in 30 or 60-minute sessions for an additional fee. Although the simulator session is booked under one Guest's name, the other members of your group can take turns using it during that session (subject to Crew Member approval). Only one Guest can use the simulator at a time while the others cheer them on (or try to distract them if you are a competitive family!). Advanced reservations are recommended and can usually be booked on the
Navigator app during your
booking window.
Most other activities on
Goofy's Sports Deck are complimentary! This includes miniature golf, basketball, and shuffleboard. My family loves playing miniature golf (even though our skills could definitely be improved!). Joggers in your family might also be interested in using the 400-yard lap running track. There are plenty of activities for your entire family to enjoy!
One of the reasons that I love sailing on the
Disney Dream is that there are so many things to see and do! My planDisney friends and I loved plunging down the AquaDuck, a 3-story "water coaster." We also enjoyed the Broadway-style shows, including
Disney's Believe and
Beauty and the Beast. Make sure to wave hello to Tarzan if he appears in
The Golden Mickeys!
Annie, I hope your cruise is filled with laughter and joy. Please contact planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
