Hello! We are going on the Disney Dream in October, over Halloween! We are SO excited! My daughter will be two years old and it's hard to get her to stay in a nursery. Also we have late dinning, 8:30. Any advice for getting her to last till dinner?

    Hi Patricia:

We took my then 2 year-old and 1 year-old on a Disney Dream Cruise. My eldest also had trouble staying in a nursery.

To keep your family engaged until dinner, there are two tricks that helped my family. The first was to enforce nap/quiet time in our cabin every day. The second was to shift our schedules during the weeks leading up to the cruise. I would let your two year old stay up a little bit later each week, and feed your child later and later during the weeks leading up to the cruise. By the cruise, your child should be accustomed to the different schedule and theoretically, should be able to handle the adjustment.

    Enjoy your cruise.
