Ahoy there, Kathryn, and welcome aboard planDisney! I'm so thrilled to hear that you and your crew will be escaping the end of the Midwestern winter next year for an amazing
5-Night sailing on the Disney Dream! You're in for an amazing time!
When it comes to theme nights, while most sailings shorter than seven nights don't have official theme nights during dining rotations like formal or semi-formal nights, I see your sailing is scheduled to have a
Marvel Day at Sea! Since that's in addition to
Pirate Night, that means you'll definitely want to dedicate luggage space to some Pirate and superhero-themed costumes or outfits! Of course, you can always dress as nicely or as casually as you'd like for dinner, but as a costume aficionado, I definitely recommend planning for both theme nights!
Now, it's important to remember that both Pirates and S.H.I.E.L.D. have one thing in common - neither likes to reveal their whereabouts until absolutely necessary. While you can narrow your Marvel Day at Sea down to one of the two sea days scheduled, which one is...let's just say classified information. So, while you know those theme days and nights are scheduled to be included on your itinerary, you'll have to check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app after you board the
Disney Dream for your exact schedule, as entertainment offerings are always subject to change!
Oh, and I'm not sure if you've heard, but the
2023 Marvel Day at Sea sailings are going to be bigger than ever! For the first time ever, more than 30 Marvel Super Heroes and Villains will be featured in new heroic encounters and live entertainment throughout the event! So in addition to the standbys like Captain America, Iron Man, and the other Avengers, keep your eyes peeled for some of the newest heroes and villains around!
I hope that helps you get a bit more clarity as your approach your mission, Kathryn! Thank you so much for your question, and if you have any other questions as your sailing gets closer, please sail our way again here at planDisney!
EXCELSIOR!
Andrew
