Hi, I will be on the Disney Dream 11-night Mediterranean with Greek Isles Cruise. Initially was told there would be a pirate night with fireworks.. I heard there will no fireworks afterall.. is this correct?

It’s wonderful to see you again, Lien! We appreciate your enthusiasm and can't wait to make your cruise experience a memorable one!

You are correct; there is a Pirate Night! Now, Pirate Night doesn’t always mean fireworks. There will be pirate activities planned, sometimes a special dinner menu, and fireworks at sea, depending on the location. Even without fireworks, the Deck Party is still a lot of fun! While some European itineraries have fireworks, your 11-night Mediterranean Cruise does not. The same holds true for the Independence Day Celebration. Check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for all the special activities on your sailing.

Another Deck Party you have to look forward to is Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party! This high-energy dance party will indeed have everyone up on their feet “busting a move.” Captains Mickey and Minnie have some fantastic dance moves! If visiting the characters is at the top of your priority list, keep your eyes peeled when returning from Port Adventures. We caught Goofy at the pier dressed to impress in his Italian finest while visiting Naples.

    Have a wonderful cruise, Lien!
