Welcome aboard, Amber!
This special cruise itinerary sounds fantastic and will be a wonderful thing to look forward to in the new year. I understand wanting to plan out your evenings, what to pack, and have a sense of the flow for your Disney Cruise Line vacation. I’m happy to share what I can and give some advice for making the most of your schedule.
Unfortunately, your family’s exact dining rotation won’t be known until you step onboard the beautiful
Disney Dream. Your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App will flip into
“onboard mode” and populate each day with the specifics of your dining table number and main dining room assignment. I’ve learned through my own cruise experience that the dining teams organize Guests into specific arrangements close to sailing, so you cannot know your exact assignment until that time.
Good news, you can express your wishes ahead of time and the dining team will do their best to accommodate you as they put together the grand plan for each dining room closer to your sailing. You may
call Disney Cruise Line and make a special request. I encourage you to use specific language such as “going to Palo on night two, please don’t schedule Animator’s Palate,” or “would like rotation with the most nights at Animator’s Palate” for the clearest communication of your desires. Please note that the
Animation Magic show is currently not part of the experience at Animator's Palate onboard the Disney Dream.
Once you are onboard and see your detailed plans in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, you can also visit the dining team in person if there are conflicts with your adults-exclusive dining reservation and a meal such as Animator’s Palate. The app will specify the location and time when the team is available to take last-minute requests. Nothing is guaranteed, either by calling ahead or visiting in person, but I’ve found them to be very accommodating in my own requests.
I can share that on the February 18, 2024 5-Night Marvel Day at Sea Western Caribbean Sailing from Fort Lauderdale, they currently have
Marvel Day at Sea on Monday and
Pirate Night planned for Tuesday (Grand Cayman port day). Entertainment is subject to change, but I hope this helps you plan a good time to visit
Palo or
Remy.
My husband and I adore Palo brunch, and then we don’t have to miss any of the main dining rotations or evening events. We’ve also enjoyed champagne brunch at Remy on the Disney Dream but our hearts (and tummies) crave brunch at Palo when we’re not at sea. This also allows our son time in the Edge club during the day, but we can still enjoy each dinner together.
I hope this helps you know what to expect and gives you some ideas to help influence your dining rotation. There is so much to experience on a Disney cruise that we simply can’t do it all, but I hope your plans and expectations fall beautifully into place!
Wishing you a magical Marvel-ous cruise,
Amy
