Ahoy Nitin,
Thank you for coming by planDisney with your Disney Cruise Line planning question. How wonderful to be preparing for a sailing on the
Disney Dream! The Disney Dream was the first ship that my family sailed on with Disney Cruise Line, and she is absolutely gorgeous.
Pirate Night is one of my favorite nights on a Disney cruise! The great news is that Pirate Night is not just for children. Though of course lots of children participate, many adults (myself included!) do as well. I enjoy dressing up like a pirate and enjoying all of the pirate-themed fun and entertainment onboard. I especially recommend the party on deck, followed by fireworks at sea. This is an amazing, rollicking good time.
I imagine that your cruise should have a Pirate Night planned. Most sailings heading to the Caribbean or Bahamas do have a Pirate Night. However, I do suggest that to confirm this that you call
Disney Cruise Line. If you give them the specifics of your sail dates, they can let you know what is listed in terms of
theme and dress for each night of your cruise. You should be aware that all of the theme and dress-up nights are optional, so if anyone in your party does not want to dress up like a pirate, that's fine too! Please do note that entertainment such as Pirate Night is always subject to change.
I hope that this information is helpful for you, Nitin! Feel free to sail back to planDisney with any further planning questions you may have!
