Hi there, Lori!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Just think…in one week you will be at sea with Captain Mickey for some fun in the sun! I must say, I am certainly a little envious of your adventure being so close…my family’s countdown is a ticking away but not as quickly as yours is!
The onboard entertainment schedule is not available until you arrive at Port Canaveral for embarkation, unfortunately, which I know makes it a little challenging when making dinner reservations at one of the
adult-exclusive restaurants. My recommendation would be to either make dinner reservations at Palo or Remy for later in the evening (say 7:30PM or 7:45PM) and if it happens to be on the same night as Beauty and the Beast you can opt to skip dinner in the main dining room and go to the early show OR do the exact opposite and book Palo for early in the evening and then go to the second performance. You can always check once onboard for availability once you know your dining rotation and the nightly entertainment schedule. There is a 24-hour cancellation policy at Palo or Remy, so if you do make reservations for any of the nights onboard (after night one) you can always change or cancel onboard without penalty. I know seeing
"Beauty and the Beast" is a priority and it definitely is worth it as it is spectacular…but in my opinion, so is a night at Palo. Oh, how I love the atmosphere, the service and the food…especially the dessert!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
