We are going on the Disney Dream in mid-Feb. (soon!) with my 3 and 6 yr old. I am thinking about downtime from all the incredible activities. Is there a TV or DVD player in the room? I am debating packing DVDs, the portable player & coloring books/cray

    Hi, Eric!

Since it's now mid-February, I hope I've reached you in time -- there have been lots of Disney Cruise Line questions with the introduction of the new Disney Dream and new itineraries for her sister ships, Magic and Wonder.

Congratulations on your cruise aboard the Dream. You are going to love all the enchanting details she has on board for you and your family! One of the neat aspects of the ship is the well designed staterooms. They are all equipped with flat-screen TVs and are loaded with free movies on demand. We recently saw some Disney animated features and other live-action films available on board. There are no DVD players, and I really don't think you'll need them with what is available. Coloring books, crayons and small toys might come in handy, and my kids enjoy ordering room service in our stateroom since its included. (Let them call to place the order and video them doing it...it's a scream!)

I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
