    We are going on the Disney Dream in March with a 5 yr old who loves waterslides. Will there be a height requirement for the new Pelican Plunge? Can he wear a lifejacket?

    Congratulations on your spring cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- make sure your batteries are changed and you have memory to spare! That goes for you and your cameras!

    My husband and I just returned from a cruise aboard the Dream, and while I was "working" on the ship, he took his turn down both slides of Pelican Plunge. (Of course, without our children there, it was merely for research...ya know!) He says that there is a height requirement of 38 inches, and you must be able to swim out to the platform. Any guest under 48 inches is required to wear a life vest -- which is supplied. I hope that helps!
