We are going on the disney dream march 18-22 for our sons 4th birthday! What kind of weather can we expect? how are the seas, smooth sailing or rough ride? Finally, we are staying at the wilderness lodge on the 17th-how crowded will MK be? Thanks!

    Ahoy Theresa!

Your Disney Dream Cruise is just around the corner!  Your son is going to have a memorable birthday celebrating with Captain Mickey on the high seas!  Make sure he gets his birthday pin from Guest Services on the morning of his birthday.  Also, give Disney a call at (800) 951-3532 to note his birthday on your reservation so he can have a yummy treat in the dining room on his special day!

March weather is quite comfortable with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the in upper 60s.  The seas should be calm, but I would pack a light jacket for the evenings.  I've cruised twice during the month of March and experienced beautiful weather both times!

You will love beginning your vacation at the amazing Wilderness Lodge.  Late March is a busy time at Magic Kingdom with many schools out for Spring Break.  On March 17th, MK will be open from 9:00am-12:00am.  Even with the crowds, you definitely have time to experience the magic especially if you utilize the Fast Pass.  Since WL is just a bus or boat ride away from Magic Kingdom I would recommend enjoying some time in the park in the morning then head back for some pool time at the resort. You can always head back to the park in the late afternoon for some more fun.

I hope you have the most wondrous time on your Disney Cruise vacation!  If you have any other last minute questions, please let me know!

    Bon Voyage!
