On the Disney Dream, where do we go (which deck) to sign the children up for the different on-board all day programs?

Ahoy, Constance! Welcome to planDisney. It's great to have you cruise our way with your question.

You are just days away from your Disney adventure at sea! How very exciting for you and your travel crew. I can't wait for you to be welcomed aboard the Disney Dream and for your vacation to begin!
Some of the best parts of a Disney cruise for my family are the incredible activities offered in Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab. The kids enjoy the time they spend in these youth spaces while the adults enjoy whatever they'd like!

To make sure your kids are ready to dive into all of the fun awaiting them onboard, make sure that you have filled out the pre-cruise youth activity registration information during online check-in. This will prompt you to provide a secret word that the approved adults in your travel party will use to pick up children from activities. When you arrive at the cruise terminal, the Crew Members at the port will assign each child (toilet trained and between 3-12 years of age) that has registered for youth activities with an Oceaneer Band. They will wear this band throughout the cruise and use it to check in and out of the secured youth clubs.

Be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app if you haven't done so already. The Navigator app will display the activity schedule for your cruise and will show the operating hours for the Oceaneer Club and Lab. On the Disney Dream, these youth spaces are located on Deck 5 (aft). Once your children are registered and have received their Oceaneer bands, they are welcome to enjoy the activities in the Oceaneer Club and Lab anytime it is open and operating. There is no need to sign up for the programs. Depending on the number of young sailors on your voyage, the youth spaces may reach capacity. As these are first-come-first-served experiences, you can check back again if this is the case. I have sailed many times with children and haven't experienced this very often.

If you have any further questions, you are always welcome to sail our way again. The Crew Members onboard will be very helpful as well. You can use the Navigator app to chat with Crew Members at the Guest Services desk if you have any questions during your voyage. Have a wonderful vacation!

    Bon Voyage,
