    We are going on Disney dream at the end of Aug. Are the characters or princesses off the ship at all when we are at the 2 islands? If so where and when? If not do they have activities going on on the ship that we can see them?

    It won't be long before August gets here and you'll be setting sail on the beautiful Disney Dream. I'm sure you're over-the-top excited and counting the days!

    It sounds to me like you have someone in your sailing party that loves meeting their favorite Disney friends. No worries, you'll have plenty of opportunities for Character Greetings throughout your cruise! Each day, you'll receive a Personal Navigator - a daily newsletter and schedule of all the fun things happening around the ship. Your Navigator will have a dedicated section for Character Appearances, so you can make sure to know when your favorites will be available for a meet and greet!

    On the day you stop in Nassau, you'll most likely have an opportunity for a few Character Appearances in the morning (9am or so) before guests debark the ship for the day in port. Make sure to keep an eye on your schedule for the Princess Gathering, held once or twice during your cruise. This regal event features many favorite Disney Princesses, and is held in the gorgeous lobby area. This can sometimes be a ticketed event, so make sure to pick up a free ticket at Guest Services to reserve your spot!

    While you won't find any Characters off the ship in Nassau, you'll have several opportunities to greet them when you visit Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. You'll find Disney friends such as Donald Duck, Pluto, Chip and Dale, Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse at different spots around the island during the day. These meet and greets make awesome, colorful photo ops! Captain Jack Sparrow has also been spotted on the island - make sure to check your Navigator to see when and where to find him!

    On a Disney Cruise, there are plenty of opportunities to make special memories with Disney Characters. I hope you're able to have many magical moments with them on the Disney Dream! - Diane W.
