We are going on the Disney Dream in about 20 days. With the weather being on the chilly side, I am concerned about activities. Everything that we were going to do involved water. The Dream does not list activities yet as it is so new. Please help!

    Hi, Suzi!

Since I am fresh from the Disney Dream, I will tell you with certainty that I participated in all the water activities with no problems last week. It was quite warm in the Bahamas for us -- in fact, my husband refused sunscreen and got burned! Of course, predicting the weather is a gamble even for meteorologists. Yet, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much warmer it is in Florida and in the Bahamas right now than in your neck of the woods -- as hard as it is to believe!

I recommend that you keep your eye out on the weather in Port Canaveral, Florida or in Nassau, Bahamas on your smart phone or your computer. Also, there is plenty to do on the ship that doesn't involve water including the many activities, events, shows, dining and spa experiences. I didn't have an opportunity to see and do everything on my cruise that I kinda was wishing for a "rain day" for an excuse to stay inside!

I hope this helps alleviate any worries you may have. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
