Ahoy, Elena!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! "Arrrr" you excited for your inaugural voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line? I'm so excited for you! The Disney Dream is my favorite ship! Sailing the high seas on a
Very Merrytime Cruise will be such a magical time for you and your family. You will be amazed from the moment you step onboard, smell the scent of gingerbread in the air and see the giant Christmas tree in the Lobby Atrium!
Although schedules are always subject to change, I would bet my buried treasure that you'll enjoy a
Pirate Night during your voyage! Pirate Night is my favorite night on the high seas! On a four-night voyage, Pirate Night is typically on night three. This is also usually the same day that the ship sails to Disney's private island, Castaway Cay!
I'm happy to give you some tips for your upcoming voyage! If you're traveling with little cruisers, I recommend bringing a stroller along. The ship does have a limited number of strollers onboard for Guests to use, but bringing one from home guarantees you'll have one, and you can use it in the Cruise Terminal while checking in and going through U.S. Customs upon returning to Port Canaveral. Also, be sure to jump online as soon as your advance booking window opens (75 days prior to setting sail for first-time cruisers) and your cruise is paid in full in order to book Port Adventures and onboard activities! This will also be the time you complete your Online Check-in and reserve your designated Port Arrival Time.
Elena, it was my pleasure answering your excellent questions! If you can think of any more before your festive voyage on the Disney Dream, please sail back and visit us again!
