Hi I will be going on the disney dream cruise going from Southampton England in august this year. I was just wondering what the baggage allowance was per passenger for the cruise.

    Ahoy, Jessica!

Welcome to planDisney, I'm so excited that you'll be setting sail later this year!

We can find details on luggage allowances in your Disney Cruise Line Contract that you'll review and sign during online check-in. You're welcome to view the contract online ahead of time, too! The contracts may vary by departure country, but this link will take you to the contract for guests sailing from the United Kingdom.

If you check item 14 in the contract you'll find "Guests' Luggage and Personal Property" which describes what can be brought onboard. Currently, the United Kingdom contract says each person may bring up to two bags.

Did you know that each Disney Cruise Line ship has multiple self-service laundry rooms available? They're open 24/7, so it's not too hard to toss in a quick load so you can pack a little lighter! This is also where you can do some ironing if you have anything that got a little wrinkled in your bags.

I hope you'll spend a little time learning about the Disney Dream before your voyage! She is one of my favorite ships, I love the "Beauty and the Beast" show! An early morning walk or jog around Deck 4 is another favorite activity of mine, even if it means I have a little extra laundry to deal with.

Jessica, I don't know if this is your first cruise or if you're a seasoned cruiser, but I hope you'll have an incredible time! Please sail over to planDisney again if you have more questions as you prepare for your trip.

    Keep moving forward!
