Ahoy there, Carla! Welcome aboard planDisney! Thanks for dropping a message in a bottle my way.
Oooh, less than a month until you're sailing away on an incredible Disney Cruise Line vacation on the
Disney Dream! Color me jealous! While my favorite ship is the
Disney Wonder, I do love the Disney Dream - its shorter itineraries make for great quick getaways, spur-of-the-moment vacations, or just building
Castaway Club status!
The allure of
Senses Spa & Salon is undeniable, and I've spent many hours luxuriating in all the relaxing spaces available. From treatment rooms to the sauna and everything in-between, when people ask me what there is to do for adults on a Disney Cruise, I always point this out as something that's at the top of the list.
Rainforest Room, you say? Well, whoever your source is sure knows their stuff...have you been talking to my
fellow panelist Adrianna? haha!
If you've heard about the Rainforest Room, you've undoubtedly begun DREAMing of the heated lounge chairs, haven't you? While everyone always sings the praises of how well you'll sleep on the bed in your
stateroom (and for good reason!), I don't think I ever relax faster than when my back hits that warm, contoured lounger. Between those, the invigorating rain showers, steam sauna, dry sauna, and one of the most exclusive views available anywhere aboard the Disney Cruise Line fleet, it's a little slice of paradise right on the ship!
Reservations for the Rainforest Room can only be made once you board the ship, so I definitely suggest you head to Deck 11, Forward as soon as you embark - there will be plenty of time to grab your
delicious embarkation day lunch from Cabanas later, I promise! Oh, and if you weren't aware, currently the Rainforest Room can only be reserved for blocks of 1 hour and 45 minutes for parties up to 10 adults. That's a bit of a change from the day passes offered previously, but this gives your crew a chance to enjoy a more private experience you can't get anywhere else!
And one more thing: current health and safety protocol means the locker rooms at Senses Spa & Salon are closed, so plan on getting ready in your stateroom before setting course for the Rainforest Room! Keep in mind that this policy can change at any time, so be sure to look for any updates to the
Know Before You Go Information as your cruise approaches.
From one Midwesterner DREAMing of escaping winter to another, I can't wait for you to embark on your exciting Disney Cruise Line vacation, Carla! Thank you again for your question, and I hope you and your crew have an incredible time! If any other questions bubble up to the surface as you finish planning, be sure to drop us a line here at planDisney!
Until then, may your anchor be tight and your compass true!
