Hi there Leila!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited to hEAR that you are going on a Disney Cruise Line vacation. Your DREAM vacation will be here before you know it and I hope you are ready for an unforgettable adventure at sea!
Disney Cruise Line has an
alcohol policy that allows Guests 21 years and older to bring onboard up to 2 bottles of wine OR 6 bottles of beer to consume in their stateroom or in the main dining room during dinner. If you choose to bring a bottle of wine to the main dining room you will be charged a corking fee, but there is no fee for Guests to open and drink it in their stateroom. That being said, my husband almost always carries a glass of wine to dinner each evening and that has never been a problem. In fact, often our dining room server will even bring a wine glass for him to transfer it from the glass he brings from the stateroom.
In addition to the policy allowing Guests to bring their own wine or beer onboard, they also offer wine packages. We have often found these packages to be of good value, especially if we are limited on time and unable to purchase wine before getting to the port for embarkation. Wine packages can be purchased ahead of time through
In-Room Gifts & Amenities or you can discuss the options once onboard with your dining room server. The nice thing about this is that if a bottle is not finished during dinner service, it will be corked until the following night for you!
As you continue planning for your adventure, please come back with any other questions you may have!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
