Hi there, Tina!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Wahoo! Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is almost here! I am sure you are so very excited, and you definitely should be! From the minute you step onboard to that final step off, you will have the most magical adventure at sea!
Visiting
Castaway Cay is one of my favorite things to do when I cruise with Captain Mickey and you won’t be disappointed by the soft, sandy beaches and the crystal-blue waters…with the most
DREAMy view in the not-too-far distance! We always look forward to our day at Castaway Cay and I most definitely recommend starting it off with the Castaway Cay 5K! Registration for the Castaway Cay 5K is done once onboard at Guest Services and is essentially a fun-run (or walk) around the island where all participants get a fun finishers medal! The Castaway Cay 5K is open to Guests ages 10 and up and is free! Just make sure to reserve your race bib early on to secure your spot!
Are you looking to book your excursion in Nassau with Disney Cruise Line's
Port Adventures?? If so, and the scheduled departure time is 9:15AM, you will have no problem making it since that will be your onboard meeting time. If you are trying to book an excursion on your own, then I would say you probably cannot make a 9:15AM departure since it appEARs that that “All Ashore” time is 9:30AM. But, if booking through Port Adventures, the 9:15AM departure won’t be an issue since you will meet as a group onboard and depart together for your adventure!
As you finish your last-minute planning, please come back with any other questions you have!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
