Does Disney take down the topiaries immediately after the Flower and Garden Festival? We are arriving on May 17th and are wondering if we should rush over to Epcot or if they'll still be up on the 18th.

Jillian, thank you so much for your question!

Last year, my family was at EPCOT the very next day after the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival for a dining reservation. Many of the topiary displays and gardens were still available to see. Other attractions such as Tinkerbell's Butterfly House, the special outdoor kitchens,  and specialty merchandise were not available. Keep in mind that the time line for removal this year may not be the same that it was last year. If you have your heart set on seeing the topiaries, I wouldn't want you to be disappointed and miss it by only one day. Last year we were able to enjoy the festival earlier in the week, and honestly I would have been sad if I would have missed it! I am a big butterfly lover, and the specialty food items were amazing. If you do have time on your arrival date - I would highly recommend not missing out!

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Jillian!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
