    Are Disney Dollars accepted in the different country giftshops at epcot?

    Hi, Laura! You better believe Disney Dollars are accepted all around World Showcase at Epcot. In fact, one Disney Dollar is equivalent to one US dollar. As such, there's no exchange rate or "strength of dollar" considerations to worry about. A Disney Dollar doesn't go further in Mexico or Canada, nor does it get less mileage in England, France or Germany. Talk about a symbiotic global economy, right?

    That being said, I'd pay good money to see what happens if you exercised a euro in Germany, a yen in Japan or a krone in Norway around World Showcase. Please send me a postcard if you do!
