Is Disney still doing the free Vacation Planning DVDs they used to do years ago? Or is there a digital version?

    Hi Emily,

Thank you for visiting planDisney with your Disney planning question. I am happy to help you get started planning your magical Disney vacation!

I remember ordering the vacation planning DVDs in the past. They used to get my family so excited for our upcoming trips. It was great to be able to see visually what we might expect on our next Disney trip, and this was a great way to get prepared for the magic of Disney before even leaving home!

While there are no longer vacation planning DVDs available from Disney, the good news is that technology has advanced enough to bring us much of the same video content in other ways. Let me offer you some places to find videos that can help you with your Disney vacation planning.

One great place to find videos about Disney vacations is right on the planDisney site at the planDisney video library. There are videos on a wide range of topics, from tips for planning a trip with preschoolers to how to take advantage of mobile ordering your food. Many of these videos are only a few minutes long. The video library includes not only videos about Walt Disney World, but other Disney vacations, such as Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line, as well. You will also find links there for the planDisney podcast, which takes a more in-depth look at certain topics. For example, if you are planning a trip around the winter holidays, there is a planDisney podcast episode focused on that topic. Or if you need help with choosing a resort hotel, planDisney has an episode on that topic as well!

I also suggest that you subscribe to the official Disney Parks YouTube channel. This channel is updated frequently with timely videos giving information about all things Disney Parks. Finally, do peruse the Walt Disney World website. At various places, there are videos embedded or that you can click for more information.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Emily! Have a wonderful time planning your magical vacation, and please do feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.
