Hi Disney Moms!! We will be in Disney world 1/11-1/18, celebrating a 3rd birthday and 10th Anniversary. We are eating at chef mickeys for the birthday but am having trouble with where to eat for our 10th Anniversary. We will have 7 ppl and one 3 year old.

    Hi Erin!

Thanks for visiting us at the DIsney Parks Moms Panel with your question.   There are countless ways to mark special celebrations at the Walt Disney World Resort.  In fact, planning it all out is half the fun.

I think your choice of Chef Mickey's is great for the little one's birthday.  Get ready to wave those napkins and celebrate!  There are oodles of choices for your anniversary dinner.  With the exception of Victoria & Albert's, nearly any place would accommodate your celebration nicely.  Are you looking for a "grown up" type dinner or more family friendly with entertainment?  For family fun and games, I love 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort.  The food is divine, and the kids can participate in coconut races and more. The ambiance is Hawaiian inspired, and it's a great place for a celebration.  You might also check out the Biergarten Restaurant where it's Oktoberfest every day!  For a more traditional elegant but kid-friendly meal, I adore the Flying Fish Cafe.  Kids are more than welcome here and the experience is lively but elegant.  As for the food, it's one of my favorites in all of Walt Disney World.  Please remember to have your celebration notated on your dining reservations.  They will be acknowledged in some special way in each dining establishment.

Please write back if I can help narrow down your options, depending on the type of experience you are looking for.  Congratulations!

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
