Welcome to planDisney, Laura! Whenever you have a
Disney vacation planning question, we're here to help with a smile on our faces.
The
dining plans available to add to a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation package are incredibly convenient. You've got some great choices for places to dine and you don't have to worry about paying for most of your meals because they are taken care of ahead of time. Just ensure that since gratuity isn't included, you're taking care of the friendly and magical Cast Members serving you when dining at a table-service restaurant!
At this time, table-service meals with the
Disney Dining Plan cannot be used toward quick-service meals and vice versa. If you feel you will need more quick-service meals, you may want to look into the
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan as that will give you 2 quick-service meals per day.
Some of my favorite dining experiences are currently available on the dining plans (subject to change)! As far as
quick-service restaurants, my husband and I cannot get enough of
Satu'li Canteen in
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. I love the
Chopped Wood-Grilled Chicken Bowl and the ability to customize it the way I like it, which is how many of the bowls are at this location. My husband is all about the Cheeseburger Steamed Pods and Smoked Chimichurri-braised Beef and Wood-grilled Chicken Combination Bowl. And when it comes to table-service restaurants,
you've also got some really great options! On our last trip, we went to
Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant for the first time...and it was outstanding! Between the
entertainment and the
food, we had a fabulous time with our friends! But of course, you can probably guess that these two restaurants are just the tip of the delicious dining iceberg! Make sure to make those
advanced dining reservations 60 days ahead of time to have the best chance of scoring the table-service restaurant reservations of your dreams!
Laura, happy dining. If you have any other questions, about dining or otherwise,
I'm happy to find the answers for you!
Good food is like music you can taste,
