Hi Rose, welcome to planDisney!
Walt Disney World Resort vacations are full of unbelievable sights and indescribable feelings. There are a hundred thousand things to see (and eat!) throughout the parks and resorts.
Advance dining reservations are a great way to save your seat at over one hundred table service dining establishments on property.
Congratulations on securing a coveted dinner reservation at
Be Our Guest on October 14. Magic Kingdom closes at 6:00 p.m. that day for general admission Guests due to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which requires a separate ticket. I understand your dinner reservation is for 5:20 p.m. General admission Guests can check in for advance dining reservations on Halloween party nights anytime before 6:00 p.m. with no trouble. Take your time enjoying your meal, try the Grey Stuff (it's delicious!), and head for the park exit when you finish your meal. That will likely be after 6:00 p.m., which I can assure you is not a problem. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party does not start until 7:00 p.m., which was designed to give some transition time between park closing and the start of the Halloween party.
If you're looking for something to do after your dinner reservation, Rose, I highly recommend shopping around the Resort monorail loop.
Bayview Gifts at Disney's Contemporary Resort is my top spot for finding souvenEARS on Disney property.
Plan magic; planDisney.
