    Are Disney dining plans a good idea for two adults?

    Hi, there!

     It sounds like you're planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Linda. How exciting! 

     I love the Disney Dining Plan. The convenience and flexibility it adds to my family's Disney vacations are priceless! With three kids in tow, we book a lot of Character Dining Experiences and I've found these meals to be an exceptional value with the Disney Dining Plan. 

     A few years ago, my husband and I traveled to the Walt Disney World Resort for an adults-only long weekend. We decided not to purchase the Disney Dining Plan as part of our Disney Resort Hotel Package thinking that perhaps it wasn't worth it for just the two of us. We immediately regretted that decision! The cost for our meals and snacks quickly added up, and we found ourselves hesitating when it came time to place our orders. With the Disney Dining Plan, we don't think twice about prices listed on menus. We feel like we have the freedom to indulge whenever we want; it is vacation after all! 

     If you'll be ordering alcoholic or specialty beverages, the Disney Dining Plan now has a greater value than ever before! Each Quick-Service and Table-Service meal entitlement includes a non-alcoholic, alcoholic (for Guests 21 and older), or specialty beverage. How great is that?
