Hi Emma -
Welcome to planDisney to dish on one of my favorite topics - dining! You're always welcome to be our guest here as we invite you to relax and pull up a chair while we proudly present. . .your answer!
Emma, the
Disney Dining Plan is a wonderful way to add convenience and flexibility to your vacation plans. For each night of your stay, you'll be eligible to redeem one snack, one Quick-Service meal, and one Table-Service meal. In addition, you'll receive a Resort-Refillable mug that you can use for the duration of your trip. With so many great restaurants to choose from, sometimes the toughest choice is where to eat!
Morimoto Asia is a popular dining choice in
Disney Springs featuring a diverse menu of Pan-Asian selections. After finding some conflicting information, I channeled my inner Mama Odie to "dig a little deeper" and called the restaurant directly in search of the best answer to your question. The restaurant shared that
items on the menu listed under Meat & Poultry, Noodles & Rice, and Vegetables are usually covered by the Disney Dining Plan. She also shared that they do sometimes have menu updates and changes that may not be reflected in what is published online. If you have your heart set on a particular item, you can always call ahead of time to confirm that it is covered as an entree.
If you're looking to spend the afternoon or evening at Disney Springs, I'd recommend checking out
Splitsville Luxury Lanes as a fun addition to your visit. You can reserve bowling lanes with or without ordering food - my boys loved it! Another fun choice is the
Vintage Amphicar Tours available at The BOATHOUSE. Reservations are only available on-site, so I suggest heading there first to check availability if you'd like to do this while at Disney Springs. The last time we visited, our family also just enjoyed a relaxing boat ride on the
Sassagoula River Cruise. We just took a ride to a neighboring resort and then came back. It was a great way to just enjoy the afternoon sunshine and the beautiful scenery!
Emma, I hope this helps as you plan for your visit to Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Springs. Please feel free to stop by and see us again here at planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future.
Cheers,
Kristi
