Hi Shannon,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. You are going to love the dining experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table; it truly feels like you have stepped right into a storybook.
One of the things I love best about the
Disney Dining Plan is the flexibility to use your entitlements the way you choose. Once you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your full allotment of dining entitlements is assigned to your party, and you are free to use them however works best for you.
I love trying snacks all around Walt Disney World, and sometimes I want something that I know isn’t a great value on the Disney Dining Plan, so I’ll pay out of pocket for it. All you need to do is let the Cast Member who is handling your transaction know that you are on the Disney Dining Plan, but you’d like to pay out of pocket. It’s not a problem at all.
Signature dining experiences like
Cinderella’s Royal Table do require the use of two Table-Service entitlements per person, so I like that you’re thinking about the best way to work your entitlements. Remember that you can often get what feels like a whole meal using a snack entitlement – the Pineapple Upside Down Cake served with Dole Whip at Aloha Isle makes a fine and nutritious breakfast, in my humble opinion. You may not even need to pay out of pocket, because the Disney Dining Plan really includes a lot of food. Think creatively and, as the sage Winnie the Pooh would advise, listen to the “rumbly in your tumbly” as you use your entitlements.
Have fun enjoying all the delicious options, Shannon, and enjoy every minute of your enchanting meal in Cinderella Castle.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
