Hi there, Britton!
Thanks for stopping by
planDisney as you dream about your fall adventure to the
Most Magical Place on Earth. Our furry friend, Remy, from
Ratatouille says, "If you are what you eat, I only want to eat the good stuff." Get ready to find plenty of the "good stuff" at this year's
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
Your
dining plan can take you on a culinary adventure through World Showcase and beyond. While you can only use quick-service meals at restaurants like
Connections Eatery in World Celebration or
Sunshine Seasons in World Nature, almost every item at the global marketplaces qualifies as a snack with your dining plan. To be sure, look for the purple and white snack icons at each festival kitchen.
The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is one of my favorite seasonal events. Before I go, I'll share a few tips for making the most of your time here.
*Before the festival begins, the
Disney Parks Blog typically releases a Foodie Guide with menus and details about culinary offerings.
Follow planDisney and the
Disney Parks on social media so you don't miss it!
*The weather in Orlando is still quite warm in September. Be sure to hydrate! Bottled water is available throughout the festival, or bring your own and refill as you go.
*EPCOT festivals tend to draw large local crowds on the weekends. If your schedule allows, plan to visit Monday through Thursday.
*The scavenger hunts are fun for Guests of all ages! My daughter loves
Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, and my planDisney pals and I are looking forward to
Emile's Fromage Montage. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Brazilian cheese bread and Indian fried paneer will make another appearance this year! They were my festival favorites last year.
I hope this has been helpful, Britton. Thanks again for sending your question our way. If there's anything else we at planDisney can do to make your trip even more magical, don't hesitate to reach out. It'd be our pleasure to assist you!
Bon appetit,
Betsy
