We have the Disney Dining Plan for our upcoming trip, but one of our children has to eat gluten free. Do the gluten free foods fall within the dining plan, or will we have to pay any extra, out-of-pocket expenses?

    Hi Katie!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  You've asked a great question, and as a frequent Walt Disney World guest with food allergies, I'm so happy to help!

Gluten-free options are available for your child.  Just make sure to note the special dietary request on each and every one of your dining reservations.  Once you are seated at a Table Service, or Buffet dining location, the chef will come by and speak with you about options for your daughter.  They'll take her order and begin to prepare it in the kitchen.

For Quick Service locations, speak with the Cast Member before you order.  They'll have a chef come and speak with you and take down your daughter's order.  There are many options for those that are on a gluten-free diet, and Walt Disney World is fantastic about taking care of those with Special Dietary Needs.  Make sure to read up about Special Dietary Requests at Walt Disney World before you go!

    Have a magical vacation!
