Hi there! For the Disney dining plan, do you have until you check out of your hotel to use up your all of your credits? Are alcoholic beverages included in buffet dining?

    Hi Manieleen,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your questions.  You are making a great choice with the Disney Dining Plan, it allows for so much flexibility and is a great way to experience some of the many wonderful dining options at Walt Disney World Resort.

The Disney Dining Plan is activated upon check in and can be used until midnight of the day you checkout, so you will be able to use your Dining Credits even after you check out (they expire at midnight).   We like to make sure we save some credits for our last day and finish off our Walt Disney World Resort vacation with a great Table-Service Meal before we head home.

When dining at a buffet location, guests on the Disney Dining Plan are now able to choose one alcoholic beverage or specialty drink as well.  Some of the beverage options that are included for guests on the Dining Plan available to guests are:

    • Beer or Cider
    • Wine or Sangria
    • Mixed Drinks or Cocktails
    • Artisanal Milkshakes
    • Fresh Smoothies
    • Premium Hot Chocolate
    • Coffee, Tea or Soda
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Manieleen.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
