We have the Disney Dining plan for our trip. If we don’t use the table service can we get a second counter service on that day?

Hi Bill! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Hooray! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation has finally arrived, and you are on your way to enjoying the many tasty treats that you can try with the Disney Dining Plan. My favorite thing about the dining plans is that my meals and snacks are already paid for in advance, so budgeting for my trip is much easier! I think you will love it!

The Disney Dining Plan is very flexible! When you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel on your arrival day, all of your meal and snack entitlements will show up in your account. This means that you can use them in any order that you like! With your plan, you will receive one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and two snack entitlements per night of your vacation, but all of these entitlements will show up on day one. If you want to use three Quick-Service meal entitlements on the first day, two Table-Service meal entitlements on the second day, and so on, you can (depending on how many nights you are staying, of course)! Just make sure to keep track of your entitlements throughout your vacation, so you don't run out unexpectedly.

With that said, you can use a Table-Service meal entitlement for a Quick-Service meal if you would like. I recommend trying to use them for Table-Service meals if possible, just to get the most value out of your plan, but if it comes down to using it for Quick-Service or not at all, definitely use it for a Quick-Service meal! Keep in mind that while you can downgrade your Table-Service meal entitlement for Quick-Service, you cannot upgrade a Quick-Service meal entitlement for a Table-Service meal.

I hope this helps with your dining plan, Bill! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
