We have the Disney Dining Plan and are traveling with 3 children ages 4-7. Must they order from the cjildren's menu at the Quick Service restaurants or can they choose from the regular menu?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lori!

It's finally June, which means your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up this month! Your advanced dining reservations are secured and you've made your FastPass+ selections, so let's nail down a few of those last minute details, like how your kids can redeem their Disney Dining Plan credits at a Quick-Service restaurant.

Mouseketeers under the age of 10 are considered to be children on the Disney Dining Plan and are charged the children's price, so they must order from the kids' menu if the restaurant you're dining at has one. There are some pretty diverse menus at the theme parks and Resort Hotels, so I'm sure your kids will be able to find something to enjoy. There is no shortage of crowd-pleaser food like pizza, mac and cheese, and chicken tenders, but there are also some fun things out there if the Younglings want to try something new. At Satu'li Canteen in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom, the kids' menu features a really cool item that adults want to order for themselves: the Cheeseburger Steamed Pod! There are even Beef Nachos on the children's menu at Pecos Bill Tall tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park, so be sure to stop by there if you're craving some really good Tex-Mex food.

I hope this answers your question, Lori, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
