Are my Disney Dining Plan table and quick service meal allotments based on the number of nights at my Disney World hotel or is it based on the number of days of my park hopper ticket? We are staying for 10 nights, but have a 9 day park hopper. Thank you!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin!

My family and I are such huge fans of the Disney Dining Plan. I'm on a personal mission to try all of the restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, and the ease and flexibility of the Dining Plan has really put that within reach for me! I'm happy to walk you through some of the finer points of how your credits work.

On our honeymoon, my husband and I used the Disney Dining Plan for the very first time. On the last day of our vacation, he went to the Quick-Service dining location at our Resort Hotel to get us breakfast and came back confused and told me that we still had credits left! We racked our brains for a while and couldn't figure out how it happened, so we happily got some more food and enjoyed a huge breakfast that day. You're being really smart by asking how it all works because what I did not know at that time is that dining credits are allotted based on the length of your Resort Hotel stay, not your theme park tickets. That means, in your case, each person in your family will have 10 Table-Service credits, 10 Quick-Service credits, and 20 Snack credits to use for the length of your stay. The credits for the entire 10 days of your stay will be allocated to you when you check in, so it's totally up to you how you use them. I love saving up a bunch of Snack credits for an amazing day eating my way around World Showcase in Epcot!

I hope this answers your question, Erin, and let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
