    On the Disney Dining plan, for the table meal are you able to substitute an appetizer for the dessert?

    From what I understand, it is rather a strict policy that no substitutions are allowed.

    In the case of a diabetic in the family, for example, the guest should note the dietary restriction on their Advance Dining Reservation. In addition, a guest is always welcome to speak with the Chef for sugar-free dessert options.

    If you have any concerns, speak with the Restaurant Manager. They may be able to offer an acceptable dining solution.
