It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Holly! This is a great question, because I'm on a mission to try every restaurant at Walt Disney World Resort, but there are a few we come back to on every trip and
Boma - Flavors of Africa at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of those places. We always like to try a little bit of every soup or stew that's available, especially anything with seafood, because the rich flavors and spices really shine in those dishes. You also have to try the Zebra Domes and the Kenyan Coffee Tarts, two delicious desserts that have become legendary among guests.
My family and I love using the
Disney Dining Plan while we're on vacation, not just because of the ease and convenience, but also because of how it fits into our budget. Since my husband and I frequently travel to Walt Disney World Resort just the two of us, we loved the recent addition of alcoholic beverages to the Dining Plan for guests over the age of 21 so we can try different beers, wines, and specialty cocktails. When you're dining at a restaurant like Boma - Flavors of Africa which includes a non-alcoholic beverage in the price of the meal, your Dining Plan credit still entitles you to an alcoholic beverage as well. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge has a great selection of specialty cocktails! My favorite is the African Rum Runner, but you can also choose to have beer or wine with your meal.
Have a magical day, Holly!
