I have the disney dining plan and I want to make reservations but they ask for my credit card when I want to use the points from my dining plan. Is there a way to make a reservation using your dining points and not your credit card?

    Hi Rachel:

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  If you are using the Disney Dining Plan, you will be required to leave a credit card number as a guarantee, however your card will not be charged unless you do not adhere to the cancelation policies.  Most Table Service locations have a 24 hour cancelation policy where if you do to cancel 24 hours prior to your reservation a $10.00 per person cancelation fee that will be charged to your card.  I would recommend checking the cancelation policy for each dining location as they are slightly different from place to place.  So go ahead and make your dining reservations, your credit card will not be charged.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort Rachel.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan, I would be happy to help.
