If we have the Disney Dining Plan, what will we get at a quick service meal and a table service meal? Thank you, Tony

    Hi Ya Tony!

I’m so happy to hEAR that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon and even more excited to hEAR that you are interested in a Disney Dining Plan! The ability to add a Disney Dining Plan to our vacation package is my husband’s favorite benefit of staying at a Disney Resort Hotel. Plus, since there are four different plans to choose from, your family is able to select the one that best fits what you all enjoy most!

The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan consists of: 2 Quick Service Meals and 2 Snacks or Nonalcoholic Beverages per person per night of stay. Each meal includes 1 Entrée and 1 Nonalcoholic Beverage, or an Alcoholic Beverage for Guests 21 and older. Each person will also receive a Resort Refillable Mug, which is my favorite part! The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is the plan my family usually selects when we visit and we absolutely love it! There are plenty of Quick-Service restaurants to choose from and many also offer Mobile Ordering, which makes dining simple for my “on-the-go” family.

If your family likes to sit down and relax as they dine, or even dine with Characters, I recommend the Disney Dining Plan. This plan includes 1 Quick-Service Meal and 1 Table-Service Meal, along with the 2 Snacks or Nonalcoholic Beverages per person per night of stay. Plus, everyone will still receive a Resort Refillable Mug. The main difference between a Quick-Service meal and a Table-Service meal is the restaurant and experience included. Your Table-Service entitlement allows you to enjoy a Character Buffet breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant or a dinner with a dessert at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Honestly, the possibilities are endless! It’s just a matter of figuring out what your family enjoys best. If you would like the flexibility to choose between the two styles of meals, I recommend the Disney Dining Plan Plus! This plan gives you and your family the option to choose where you would like to enjoy your 2 meals per night of stay at. The choice can be both a Table-Service meal and Quick-Service meal, or two of the same, you decide! If you find that your family would prefer three meals a day, then the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is for you! This plan consists of 3 meals per person per night of stay, and can be used as either a Table-Service or Quick-Service meal again, you decide!

I hope this helps you enjoy your Disney Dining Plan when you visit! Don’t forget to start making those Dining Reservations 180 days prior to your arrival!

    Bon Appétit!
