If I have a Disney dining plan and order 2 beverages (example -- coffee and an alcoholic drink, which one will be covered by the DDP? Will it be the lessexpensive drink?

How ya doin', Ann, and welcome back to planDisney!

The Disney Dining Plan has eased the minds of many a visitor to the Walt Disney World Resort. It's the kind of planning on the front end that makes your vacation feel that much easier. Let's get to the bottom of your libation situation.

A single beverage is included with each of your quick-service and table-service meals. If you decide you'd like a coffee and a cocktail (for those 21 years old and over), I'm happy to inform you that you get to choose which drink is covered. The additional drink will just need to be purchased out of pocket. I'd personally recommend keeping those fancier beverages on the plan and using your coins for the coffee, as specialty cocktails can definitely add up.

Pro-tip: Be sure to make your Advance Dining Reservations in the My Disney Experience app. You don't want any of your dining credits going to waste!

Ann, I hope I've been able to keep you happy, healthy, hydrated, and caffeinated. Please come back for another chat. With so many great eateries to choose from, we have lots to discuss!

    Happy planning!
