I have a disney dining plan and noticed that dessert is included with both the table service and quick service meals. I'm diabetic and wonder if a restaurant has no dessert options for me, what happens? Can I have a salad or bowl of soup instead?

    Hi Kathleen!

Disney is AMAZING about serving guests with a variety of special dietary needs.  Most Counter Service locations have a sugar-free option for dessert, or will allow you to substitute fresh fruit for your dessert if one is not available.

Table Service establishments do generally have (some super YUMMY!) sugar-free dessert options on the standard menu.  If one is  not given, make sure to ask your server.  Also, make sure you note any special needs on your dining reservations so they'll be ready for you!  Have a magical vacation!
