For the Disney Dining Plan, do we need to show a picture ID/driver's license in restaurants/parks when ordering an alcoholic beverage, or is age info imbedded in our magicband?

    Hi Amber!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Walt Disney World Resort offers some incredible dining experiences, including some amazing adult beverages that you can enjoy during your vacation. Whether you will be visiting Uh Oa at Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, enjoying beverages from around the World and Epcot's World Showcase or sampling some of the fantastic offerings at Disney Springs, there's something for everyone!

If you are planning on purchasing adult beverages during your vacation, I recommend that you plan on bringing your photo ID with you to the theme parks and restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort. Your MagicBand does not act as sufficient identification to verify your age for your alcohol purchase. So you will need to bring your driver's license, passport or another valid photo identification with you to verify that your age is appropriate for your purchase.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue preparing. And if you happen to be in Disney Springs, I highly recommend the Blood Orange Jalapeño Margarita that you can get from the carry out window at Frontera Cocina as it's one of my favorite adult beverages in all of Walt Disney World Resort! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
