Hi! If I want to use a Disney Dining Plan meal credit to pay for a meal that requires prepayment, how would it work? Would I get reimbursed for the charge on my credit card once the meal credit is deducted from my allotment? Thank you!

    Hi there, Mariana!

Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help with your question!

It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner, so I bet you're getting excited! For me, having a Disney Dining Plan is one of the best advantages of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. I love knowing that my family's meals are paid for in advance, and I especially love all of the dining options that are available.

If you have a reservation for a meal that required you to prepay in advance, you can definitely still use your dining plan credits. There are a couple of options for you to get a credit for your prepayment. You can call the Dining Reservation line and a friendly Cast Member can assist you in adding your dining plan to the reservation and issue a credit to your credit card, or you can just let your server know that you would prefer to use your dining plan credits once you arrive. Either way, you will receive a credit in the amount that you prepaid for the meal.

I hope this helps to answer your question and please feel free to stop back by if we can help with anything else. Wishing you a magical vacation!
