When you use the Disney dining plan, I know they tell you how many meals are left on the bottom of your receipt. Do they specify how many meals left are kids meals and how many are adult meals? Does a child have to order a kids meal? Thanks!

Hello Nicole.  Thanks for asking your question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am a big fan of the Disney Dining Plan.  We purchase the plan each trip we take to Walt Disney World, I am always shocked at how much money it saves us.

At the bottom of your receipt, it will show the total number of credits you have left for your entire party for the type of meal credit you are using.  It does not break the number down by person.  Children ages 3-9 on the Disney Dining Plan must order from the children's menu when one is present.  Credits are not hard to keep track of once you are there.  I know the Disney Dining Plan can seem confusing at first but it is very simple and the Cast Members are very helpful.

If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan, let me know!   Have a magical day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
