With the Disney Dining Plan - my friend and I are planning on staying 5 nights, is it possible to purchase the dining plan for use for only 3/5 days? We'd like to take advantage of the plan during our park days, but not our arrival/departing days.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Allison! You've definitely come to the right place to ask your Disney Dining Plan questions because I am an expert in snacking my way around Walt Disney World Resort.

When you add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation package, every person staying in your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel room is given dining credits for each night of your stay, so for your five night stay you will have five days of dining credits. While the amount of dining entitlements you receive can't be changed, you certainly don't have to use them every day because there are lots of flexible ways to enjoy your Disney Dining Plan.

My husband and I travel to Walt Disney World Resort pretty frequently and we use the Disney Dining Plan almost every time we go. One of our favorite tricks is to combine two Table-Service credits to enjoy a meal at a signature dining location. Some of our favorites are Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot, and Jiko -The Cooking Place at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This would be a great option for you and your friend since you don't plan on making reservations on your arrival or departure day! Use those two Table-Service dining credits for an unforgettable experience at an amazing restaurant.

    Have a magical day, Allison!
