On the Disney Dining Plan, what exactly is included at a restaurant that serves only buffet? I have made some reservations, and in the terms there is something about it not being an "all you can eat" buffet. So what is it?

Hi, Billie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Dining at Walt Disney World Resort can often mean that fabulous word “buffet”! My kids can be pretty picky eaters, so we love that they can have a bit of everything when we dine at a buffet location. I know that the wording might suggest that it is not “all-you-care-to-enjoy”, however, you are more than welcome to seconds, thirds, or more! I was recently enjoying breakfast at Cape May Cafe when I think I ate 4 or 5 helpings! I think what Disney Restaurants want to avoid are folks that go for breakfast and stay for lunch-a marathon buffet in other words. They just want to make sure that it is a 1 meal buffet, or at least that is my understanding of the wording.

I know that you have mentioned already having made your Advanced Dining Reservations, which is fantastic because Disney Restaurants often fill up quickly! If you have the My Disney Experience mobile app, you can manage your reservations from the palm of your hand, just keep in mind that there is a cancellation policy of which you might want to be aware.

Have a magical vacation and come and see us again soon!
