Is the Disney dining plan ever gonna come back?

Hi there, Nicole! Welcome to planDisney!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. The Disney Dining Plan is definitely missed by many and for good reason. It was a fantastic way to eat everything your heart desired (within the limits of dining credits) because everything was basically paid for before your vacation even started.

Although I'm a Walt Disney World Resort "local" who never used the Disney Dining Plan, my fellow Disney-loving pals absolutely LOVED it! So, I'm right there with you waiting for the news of its possible return. I recommend frequently checking the Disney Parks Blog and following official Disney social media accounts like the Disney Parks and planDisney Instagram accounts to be among the first to hear an announcement.

AN EXTRA GEM: One way that my family likes to keep track of our food budget while on vacation is to purchase Disney Gift Cards. We can usually get them at a discount at various retailers, and then we use them around the Resort for our meals and snacks (yummy Dole Whip!).

I hope that this helps, Nicole! Fingers crossed that we will hear some good news about the Disney Dining Plan soon. If you have any further questions, please give us a holler here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
