We have the disney dining plan, and 6 day base tickets. One of the parks (that we plan to only visit one day) has two table service restaurants that we would like to go to on separate days. Can we visit the restaurant only without using a park entry?

Hello Dezaray!  So glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I love the Disney Dining Plan, I am so glad to see you've included it in your upcoming vacation.  The ease of having everything paid for ahead of time is so great, it really puts us in the vacation mode.  If you want to eat at a restaurant inside one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks, admission into that specific park is required.  With a standard base ticket, you would have to use 2 of your park ticket days to go to a certain theme park for the day and another one for your meal.  You could, however, upgrade to the Park Hopper Tickets and make it work.  A Park Hopper Ticket allows you unlimited entry into all 4 Walt Disney World theme parks each day.

If I were you, I would either upgrade to the Park Hopper Tickets or think about eating at Downtown Disney or one of the Walt Disney World Resort restaurant.  My favorite dinner is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort and it doesn't require any admission to eat there.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me!  Have a great day.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
