Hi Angela!
My family loves the flexibility of the
Disney Dining Plan and we add it to almost every one of our Walt Disney World vacations! It's nice to have our meals taken care of in advance, so all we have to do is show up and order.
If you are on the regular Disney Dining Plan, you will receive one
Quick-Service meal and one
Table Service meal per day, per person. Each Quick-Service meal, generally meaning a restaurant where you walk up to the counter and order, takes one Quick-Service entitlement. Each Table-Service meal, a sit-down restaurant with a server, takes one Table-Service entitlement. You can use one Table-Service entitlement for a Quick-Service meal, but you cannot combine Quick-Service entitlements for a Table-Service meal. I don't recommend using a Table-Service entitlement for a Quick-Service meal because you would be losing the greater value that a Table-Service meal holds. Also, please note that gratuity is not included in the Disney Dining Plan when dining at a Table-Service restaurant.
There are a handful of restaurants classified as
Signature Restaurants and Dinner Shows that require 2 Table Service entitlements per person such as
California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions or if you'd like any dining recommendations.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
